The Riverside Medley Storage Buffet and Deck is ideal for storing and serving in any dining area. It features Mindi hardwood solid/veneer construction. Mindi is a hardwood that's dense and durable, with an open grain similar to American Oak. It is finished in a lightly distressed wood finish called Camden that's a perfect match for the metal accents of the upper storage deck. The buffet features three storage drawers with felt-lined drawer bottoms; the outside drawers have wood-on-wood guides, and the center drawer has ball-bearing guides. Two curved-face doors in the center enclose one adjustable and one fixed shelf. The two outside doors each enclose one adjustable and one fixed shelf. There's more than enough storage in this buffet for everything dining-related!
Above the buffet is the open storage deck, featuring elegant metal scrolls finished in Wildwood Taupe and two fixed wooden shelves. The buffet measures 56W x 22.5D x 41H inches; the upper deck measures 46.75W x 13.62D x 45.75H inches. Assembly is required.
Notes on construction
All Riverside domestic furniture is constructed of fine wood harvested from American forests, including oak, ash, poplar, and pine. These wood types are durable and feature beautiful, open grains that make them much preferred amongst furniture manufacturers. Each piece of wood is first graded for quality at the Riverside lumber plant, then kiln-dried to remove excess moisture and prevent splitting. The wood is then sent to one of Riverside's three manufacturing plants, all located in Fort Smith, Ark. At that point, it is constructed into a high-quality furniture piece using a combination of hardwood solids and hand-selected veneers. Techniques used on Riverside pieces include dovetail joinery, heavy-duty drawer roller guides, and multi-step finish applications that include hand-sanding and polishing for a deep, lustrous result. All Riverside furniture is given this high-quality treatment to ensure the beauty and durability of your final product.
